After obtaining 2 postgraduate and Law degree, he joined Birla Group and in 1975, his journey in the film industry began as the Secretary in IMPPA till his retirement as the Secretary General Film Federation of India. He had the honour to head the secretarial and office administration in all major film trade bodies of different sectors viz Production, Distribution, Exhibition Export. One of the founders of MAMI, ANTI VEDIO PIRACY COMPANY, AMPTPP (now called INDIAN FILM AND TV PRODUCERS COUNCILS) Represented Indian Film Industry in many foreign conclaves and film.festivals was an Executive Member of FIAPF
